| Description |
This contains both Award and AMI BIOS files, including a dual BIOS file for a PCChips M912 v1.7 motherboard with a UMC UM8498F/UM8496F chipset.
The Award BIOS: 09/08/1995-UMC-498GP-2C4X6B13-00 is Y2K compliant and 64KB in size, the AMI WinBIOS: 40-P301-001437-00101111-072594-DGREEN-H is also Y2K compliant and 64KB in size.
Note: the Award BIOS needs adjustments in the DRAM and SRAM speed settings.
There's also 1 file that contains both that can be flashed onto a 1Mb flash chip (128Kx8) and by doing so, switch the JP2 jumper to 1-2 for AMI or 2-3 for Award.
