| Description |
This updated SideWinder 3D Pro driver may solve the problem of the 3D Pro showing as 'not connected' on some newer computer systems. *Please note, you should only install this patch if you cannot get your 3D pro to work at all.
Before downloading the upgrade, you must have the following installed:
SideWinder Game Controller Software version 3.02
To install the SideWinder 3D Pro upgrade patch
1. Click on the link below to download the SideWinder 3D Pro upgrade.
2. Select Save this File to Disk and save the file into the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory of your system.
3. Click Save.
4. Click Yes if asked "WINDOWS\SYSTEM\sw3dpro.vxd This file already exists. Replace existing file?"
5. For the patch to take effect you should shut down and re-start your machine.
File needs to be unrarred due the not supported VXD file extension on vogonsdrivers.com
